So there you have it, folks:
(1) The first photo anyone was allowed to take following the accident (almost 2 weeks post-accident), just before the dentist took out what was left of my front teeth.
(2) The temporary “flippers” I wore for 7 weeks while my jaws and gums healed. (My mouth was still quite numb when this picture was taken, so I had to hold my upper lip out of the way with a finger just to get a decent shot.)
(3) The “Final Fangs” (which may not be so final after all, since I am still not happy with the bottom teeth, but because they don’t show much, I didn’t want to wait any longer).
(4) Say “Cheese, Kate!” Or is that CheeseKate? That’s me — with a nasty flu that two martinis did very little to treat — but, as you can see, I’m happy as hell with my new teeth.

Seriously, I sympathize. Dental work is never fun at the best of times, which this definitely wasn’t. Glad it’s all (mostly) over for ya!
