Shedding light on why Islamic extremists sanction honor killings, an Australian Muslim cleric declared that women who are sexually assaulted are responsible for the attack. Why? Because women are like “uncovered meat“:
“If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside … without cover, and the cats come to eat it … whose fault is it, the cats’ or the uncovered meat’s? The uncovered meat is the problem. If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab [the headdress worn by some Muslim women], no problem would have occurred.”
Interestingly, the best response comes from another pile of uncovered meat, Wafa Sultan.

When the kind and peace loving followers of the Koran have finished slowly flaying this uncovered lump of meat, they will throw her twitching carcass onto a bed of hot coals and listen in joy to her last screams and wailings as they rejoice to Allah and share his love with you by video taping it and putting it on that vile infidel creation, the internet. Her remains will then be fed to pigs. Peace be unto you in the name of the most kind, loving and merciful Allah.
Cause, y’know…. like uncovered women just drive us wild and we loose all control & stuff.

strange. women don’t cover themselves from head to toe, except for their face, and i lose control. somehow women are to blame? because i can’t control myself.
and this is a religion that purports to hold women in higher regard than any other.
That woman is a courageous hero, and yeah … I fear for her life. Does she live in the Middle East somewhere?

It’s people like her who give me hope.
…on top of which, the Muslim cleric’s analogy is so false its laughable. He is making an analogy between meat and women, a souless inantimate object and a person with a living soul and a moral being. And the cat does not have the ability to make moral judgements either… that so many people not only believe this reprehensible crap and die for it too, makes me always try to keep the big picture in the war on terror.
