Got Some Comment Lovin’ For Ya
Ever since I removed my blogs from the Do_follow blogroll, I’ve been looking for a way to continue rewarding folks who take time out of their lives to comment on my sites.
Thanks to a recommendation from Elizabeth at MomReviews, I’ve installed the CommentLuv WordPress Plugin here and two of my other blogs as well.
Want some loving? Next time you’re leaving a comment check the box at the bottom of the comment entry screen and CommentLuv will insert a link to your most recent entry. Automatically!
But be warned: I will continue to enforce my policy banning comment spam and I will mess with and/or delete your comment if you violate any of the terms written in nice, big, bold letters above the comment entry section. Because, although I do believe in sharing the love, I prefer it to be between mutually consenting adults. Got it?

That’s awfully cool of you. I think, however, it wouldn’t work with my blog because I’ve got it password protected.
Probably not, or at least I hope it wouldn’t in that case. Last thing a password-protected blog needs is to have its entry titles showing up, eh?

I really, really need to get off my toosh and switch to Wordpress. It’s got so much more going for it than Blogger. That will make a good New Year’s Resolution (along with lose 20, drink less beer, etc.).
Most importantly: it’s not owned by Google.
I just converted one of my blogs to its own domain name and lost all my rankings! Must…start….over. Even though I didn’t move anything and the old addresses (Typepad) still work.
I thought I was technologically savvy till I started blogging. Thanks for the link help!

LOL. It’s nothing to worry about — it just tracks who’s on the site and gives me the URL to their home page if they’ve visited before.
And chances are it’ll disappear real soon.
you might be able to hide that… If you want to change the code… I still don’t know why comment luv doesn’t seem to be working correctly on mine. I can’t see any links but the plugin is working…
