I wasn’t too impressed by them, either. It’s not quite run its course in our house, since I’ll watch it if there’s nothing else on, but I’m pretty sick of the 3-episodes in a week thing. I’ve got a life!

Good point about the “It” factor, Joan. Another thing he shares with Kelly Clarkson – how genuine he seems. Then again, I like the thought of the Idol winner being a kid who suddenly makes it big. That’s why I’m so annoyed by how many experienced “pros” there are this season.

With Michael Johns, it felt to me as if the sound guy was on a break and the mike wasn’t set correctly.

Robbie should really lose the locks.

Chikeize was great.

When I see David Cook I see Jimmy Fallon doing a “rock star” – doesn’t trip my trigger.

David A – great voice, young kid, overcame a paralyzed vocal chord. I hope he makes it to the top 12 and farther.

We used to watch Idol as a family and it was fun. I don't know if the show is getting old or I just don't care...probably both. The show is on the tube but everyone in the house is doing something else with Idol providing the background clamor. I think the show has about run its course both in my house and across the nation.
