Blogging Will Be Light Today

Thanks to my newly discovered motivation to get my house organized (again) — for which I blame Beth — I’m too busy cleaning out my closet and chasing dust bunnies to give much thought to blogging this afternoon.

Wait a few of hours, though, and I’m sure self-disgust over how bad the clutter problem has grown will prompt me to sit down with a martini and my laptop… in my closet… which might be the only clean place in the house by then.

[Aside by Anwyn: My house, on the other hand, remains disgustingly cluttered and my motivation to fix it at an all-time low, so I'm blogging today.]

my house is also disgustingly cluttered, but I went to get a haircut this afternoon and will soon be taking The Little Guy to gymnastics, picking Daddy up from the train, and coming home to heat up my leftover homemade split pea soup for dinner. I then plan to watch TV while perusing the blogs from my loveseat side laptop…

Amen, sister. At least, the hanging out with the kid, getting my hair cut (and highlighted, hallelujah), and watching TV with the laptop. I already heated my leftover beef stew and ate it!! :)

Just cut. I have decided not to use chemicals on the old hairs anymore… Besides, my gray is coming in all sparkly silvery and I like it :D

Is it just me, or does that thing look like a Tribble?

Kim & Anwyn, I’m waaaaay overdue for a haircut. Could use a highlighting, too, but I’m a major coward when it comes to haircuts and color. Like getting the energy to clean my house, it’s something I have to work up to.

But the great thing, as I was explaining here, I’m getting things done, but more than that I’m freeing up time (and improving my outlook). The result has been that I’ve played more with The Big-Eyed Boy in the past couple of days than I have in a long, long time.

It looks like a monster tribble, it does. Good for you getting things done and playing with the Boy!
