Pedophilia among the Catholic clergy isn’t restricted solely to priests. In Massachusetts, a group of nuns at a school for the deaf are being sued in connection with ongoing mental, physical and sexual abuse of students.
I suppose the sisters can take comfort in the fact that prison uniforms are orange. They’ve got to be tired of wearing black and white by now, don’t you think?

Kate, this abuse thing is more involved than most media outlets have time for. It’s actually more involved and complicated than most people have time for.
There’s the lack of education for nuns in the early to mid twentieth century, the Jesuit intellectual rebellion that began in the 1940s, the rebellions of the 1960s and early 1970s, Rogerian psychology, liberation theology, the sexual revolution, the destruction of the priestly formation system, the burden of the supernatural, etc.
