Pardon me, but did I miss a dip in gas prices or something?

Gas prices zoomed at a record pace over the last two weeks, increasing by 15.53 cents a gallon to a national average of $1.72, according to a national survey of gas stations.

I’m paying $1.99 per gallon at the gas station closest to my house, and it hasn’t dipped below $1.89 since March. How about you?
