I agree as to the past drug use. Certainly if a politician were still using drugs I'd find it relevant -- the potential for compromised interests is too great, not to mention the problem of a known lawbreaker. But eleven years ago? Oh, please. I have no idea what Obama's stance on the issues are at this point, but at some point I imagine I'll actually bother learning what he stands for. I agree as to the past drug use. Certainly if a politician were still using drugs I’d find it relevant — the potential for compromised interests is too great, not to mention the problem of a known lawbreaker. But eleven years ago? Oh, please.
