NOTE: I have changed the time on this entry to bump it to the top so those of you who’ve been so generous with your linkage get the attention you justly deserve. (But please don’t overlook this heart-warming post from today’s news.) As a side-note: I’m looking foward to visiting those blogs linking this post that I haven’t noticed before. Something tells me my List of Prey is about to get massive!
I am going to take most of Thursday off from blogging to get some things done around the house and won’t be posting anything aside from a reminder to submit Snark Hunt entries to BiteMe AT ElectricVenom DOT com. In my absence, I thought it might be fun to try a new way to send traffic to blogs written by folks kind enough to read Electric Venom regularly, but I’m feeling too darn lazy to go hunting through my referral logs to look for links. So here’s the deal:
If you’re looking for some good blogs to read on Thursday, check the list of folks linking to this entry and visit them early and often. (With luck, this list will expand throughout the day, so be sure to come back and look for more good reads!)
If you run a blog and would like to snag my traffic for the day (a not-too-shabby average of 1,657 hits), see below.
Bloggers: simply link this post to get your blog listed below under “other slinks.” [Note: Even though I'll be busy, I promise I'll find time to delete any highly objectionable pings that come in, so don't toy with me.]
Bloggers without trackback enabled can click here to use the Standalone Trackback Form created by Kevin at WizBang!. The instructions are pretty simple:
1. In TrackBack URL field paste: http://www.electricvenom.com/cgi-bin/mt/mt-tb.cgi/3505
2. Write an entry on your own blog and put the permalink to your entry in the Permalink URL field.
3. Type the title of your entry into the Title field.
4. Add an excerpt from your entry in the Entry field if you want.
5. Type the title of your blog in the Blog Name field and hit “Submit.”
6. Sit back and gloat over stealing my traffic.
That’s all there is to it. Have fun!
UPDATE: As Venomite Tony pointed out, I probably should have titled this entry “I Whore You, You Whore Me”… but then I’d have that damn Barney theme song in my head all night.
