Some of the drinks made up to sell a particular brand of alcohol are OK (Tequila Sunrise for Galliano), but this on in abominable.
A martini is gin and olives. Vermouth optional.
A’la Winston Churchill, who allegedly look at it whilst pouring the gin.

Aw, babe, you lost me @ gin! Vodka. Terribly good vodka. And just say vermouth over the glass.
