Welp, I don’t have to write my blog entry about it now since you just said it.

A LONG time ago, back when the Grateful Dead were still around, all the little hippies in Seattle went to attend the show. We won’t even discuss the carbon footprints from those ridiculous VW mini vans, (and I love VW…but those vans are oil guzzlers and give off the worst exhausted fumes), we won’t discuss the smoke in the air or the stench from so many unwashed bodies…no. I only wish to talk about the MOUNTAIN of garbage that was left behind. I walked by the Seattle Center the next day on my way to work and was shocked, floored, stunned, appalled….hell, I was pissed at the amount of trash these “earth loving” people left behind. I can’t even imagine the filth that piled up in all those cities. I won’t bother to be kind and say, “bless their hearts”…I’ll come right out and say, “they are so stupid”.

But… but… the acts are awesome! So little tradeoff. They really should have all taken a lesson from the pittance of a show at the D.C. venue. It looks like a county fair stage and the amount of energy used can’t be much since half of what was telecast so far HAD NO SOUND.

All you can do is shake your head and say “Bless your heart” — which some lovely southern woman once told me translated roughly to “You’re so stupid.”
