UPS just stopped by with two packages addressed to me. Yesterday, the Post Office brought me one as well. I know I haven’t ordered anything, so I’m guessing (hoping?) these are birthday presents. (Ahem.)
Know what I’m thinking? (Besides, “You like me! You really like me!”) I’m thinking how much I want to open these presents now, rather than waiting two more days. But if they really are birthday presents, then I know I ought to wait.
Yeah, I suck at waiting for Christmas, too.

Hey, if they are addressed to you, that means you can open them. If your gift-givers really wanted to keep them hidden from you, they would have addressed the packages to themselves

Have either of you ever been called “a bad influence”? I’m leaning toward opening them, too, but then I start wondering what if VH sucked at birthday shopping (again)? If it’s coming from a Venomite who clicked on my Wish List, at least I know it’s something I’ll truly enjoy!
