Bad Weather On The Way
As I mentioned yesterday, I love a good weather event. This weekend we’re looking at fog, rain, freezing rain, sleet, ice and maybe even snow.
That’s almost enough to make me swoon, particularly since I’ve stocked the shelves and fridge and am fully prepared to hunker down to enjoy the wintry display.
Meanwhile, my in-laws are supposed to arrive Sunday evening for a one-night-only appearance, although they’ll be returning after New Years for several days. Note that I said they’re supposed to arrive Sunday.

Looks like my Mother-in-Law might have met her match in Mother Nature.
So in the midwest, does a forecast of snow compel the whole city to converge on the grocery store for milk and bread?
Not so much, but the forecast of ice and/or refreezing on the roads does.
The grocery store rush here still isn’t as bad as it was when there’s even a rumor of a longshoreman’s strike in Hawaii. Within minutes, every store on the island sells out of TP, diapers and milk. Every single time.
They say Mother Nature’s a bitch. Your mother-on-law is, too?
