“Better” Is A Relative Term
My fever broke sometime yesterday afternoon, hours after The Big-Eyed Boy had started feeling much better. Why is it that kids bounce back so much faster than adults?
By bedtime last night, he’d ceased sneezing and coughing. He even informed me that he’d been so bored watching me nap that he fully intended to go to day camp today. Fine by me: I still feel like a truck ran me over repeatedly. But at least I’ve got my voice back, even if it does sound a bit like Kathleen Turner’s.
Still, I figure if the boy’s feeling good enough to go to day camp, then I’m feeling good enough to take him. And that, my friends, is the best medicine for what ails me.
Ah, the things we do for our kids. *grin* Glad the fever broke and since your son will be at day camp, you can relax in peace and quiet for a while.
Here’s hoping you’re back to your venomous self in no time. Feel better soon!!
Thanks, Ladies! Me and my DayQuil are actually feeling quite good right now.
