Continuing the Blog Game #2
Whether you answered the question in Round 1 or not, here’s another for you:
2. If you had a time machine, what one event in 2005 would you undo?
My answer: Hurricane Katrina, definitely. New Orleans holds so many memories for me that I ache knowing my favorite city will never be the same. On a personal note, if I could undo any event in my life, there’s no question: Considering the pain, the frustration, the pain, the financial burden and the pain, I’d undo that bike accident that knocked out my front teeth in August.
There is so much to choose from. I would have to say I would undo tectonic plate shifting. The earthaquakes, one of which resulted in a Tsunami killed hundreds of thousands of people ending whole family lineages forever.
as awful as Katrina was, I’m gonna have to go with Rita on this one as it impacted my husband’s family quite a bit. his sister and husband lost their apartment and a lot of shit (they just got their FEMA trailer last week). his aunt, uncle & cousins also lost their apartment and a lot of stuff, and his other aunt & uncle lost a large chunk of their house.
