Look into homeopathic techniques to deal with this sort of thing. I’ve found it to be HIGHLY effective, if you can properly match up the symptoms against the proper materia medica.

‘Modern’ medicine has nothing that is effective against viral infections, yet. All they can do is try to alleviate symptoms and attempt to prevent secondary infections.

I recommend starting with Homeopathic Medicine at Home by Dr. Panos, MD. It has good charts. You can get it at any good health food store, e.g., Vitamin Cottage. Such a store will also offer assorted materia medica. Usual cost of the book is under $15. Usual cost of a vial of materia medica (200 pills) is under $8.

P.S. If you cook a lot, I recommend getting a vial of cantharis and keeping it handy. It’s GREAT in dealing with burns. I brushed against the red-hot burner in my oven getting an omelet out from the broiler in December. Instant second degree burn.

Had a vial of cantharis in the cabinet nearby. Put three pills under the tongue. Let them dissolve on their own.

No pain after 10 minutes. No scar today.

That’s only the latest ‘accident’. I do a lot of cooking and work with hot things; kilns, torches, etc., etc.
