I sure don’t. Not for blogging, not for following the news, not for answering email, and almost not for sleep… all of which I miss.

Not that I’m complaining, mind you. A myriad of wonderful things have been happening offline. (Why else would I miss my own Blogiversary?) I have several freelancing articles that I’m working on, three of which have deadlines approaching. One of my short stories is being published in a quarterly lit journal this fall, and two publishers (out of God knows how many) that I sent queries to have asked for a full-fledged book proposal. One even wants three chapters and an outline.

This, I believe, is what is known as “living on cloud nine.”

So as much as I hope to make time for blogging soon, I don’t dare devote less than my full effort to the things going on here. I’m sorry if that lets anyone down, but I appreciate your understanding and continued interest. I’ll be back with you soon… unless I make it as a Big Time Author, in which case I’ll see you at the book signings!
