		<description>I&#039;ve only been through NYC once, in 1993.  Didn&#039;t get to see any of it, except the skyline of downtown from a distance.  About the only thing I did see was row after row of brownstones...gimme the wide open spaces here out West any day. :s

		<description>Yeah, you should come up.  Things are pretty different.  No, you almost certainly would not recognize 42nd street.  Frankly that&#039;s a good thing.  The windows are something close to as lavish as ever.  There are sax players on the steps of New York Public Library and in the subways.

It feels different, certainly.  But I&#039;d be hard pressed to describe what&#039;s actually changed.

I almost wish I didn&#039;t live here so I could visit.
