I simply ignore pounding on the door when I don't wish to be bothered. Thanks for the kudos. I really love it, particularly now that I picked up scented candles. We did it from noon on Saturday until two hours before I posted this yesterday. And I have the injured rotator cuff to prove it!

That’s exactly why we haven’t done much renovation, aside from DIY projects here and there. I can’t handle that trifecta! But we’ve reached the point now where we need a new deck, and the 15+ year old carpets have just about reached the end of their life. So, I may have to bite the bullet and go for the Trifecta after all.

I’m a hardcore coffee (as well as tea) fiend, too. Gotta have my caffeine. Gotta. I’d worried that the Flavia system would make it terribly expensive to maintain my habit, but that eBay pointer and the price for the rail have convinced me.

And speaking of renovations, I'm a first timer at them. We just converted our bathroom into a roll in shower for my husband who's been in a wheelchair since 2003. We ripped out the jacuzzi tub and dropped the floor and tiled it and put in some snazzy fixtures. Even tho my friends warned me, nothing, and I mean nothing, not even my over active imagination, prepared me for the "Trifecta of Renovation" ... dust, mess and noise. And a crew of sweaty strangers parading in and out of the house for days on end. The renovation took 12 days but the end result ... I'm so pleased with it and most important, so is Robert. eBay. I got a brand new Flavia system there last year for under $70. And the rails (each “rail” is 100 packets) cost about $30 each on the Flavia web site. You KNOW this girl does not pay retail. I buy House Decaf and Breakfast Blend, and I can get them on eBay from different vendors for about $18-22 a rail. It really does cut down on the mess, plus, even tho I’m a hard core coffee drinker, sometimes there’s still coffee left over, and this cuts down on that as well. You’ll LOVE it, there’s all kinds of coffees, teas, even cocoa! And nothing’s more fun than feathering one’s own little nest!

That’s a law I wish we’d laid down. The Big-Eyed Boy routinely pounds on the door while I’m taking a bath, even when I’ve warned him repeatedly that I’ll be bathing and that he’s to leave me alone.

The worst, though, is when I get into bed and start reading an awesome book. It’s almost a given that, by the end of the first paragraph, he’ll be standing there begging to sleep in my room.

But in my book, when your son is old enough to call his genitals “junk” he’s too old to be sleeping in Mommy’s bed.
