I’m brain-dead this morning after staying up too late playing Psychonauts last night.

So, rather than me thinking up anything witty, I’m going to post a series of end-of-the-year blog memes today. Here’s the first one:

1. Who is your candidate for the Biggest Idiot of 2005 (excluding yours truly, of course) and why?

My answer: Fred Phelps, the dubious “pastor” of Topeka, Kansas-based Westboro Baptist church whose infamous brand of gay-bashing hatred proved even more irrational as Phelps and his church members disrupted the funerals of U.S. Veterans, chanting “Thank God for 9/11″ and praising God for the IED-caused deaths of U.S. soldiers in Iraq.
