Since we moved into our new house 1.5 years ago, I put up wainscoting in the kitchen, installed 4 new faucets, installed a dishwasher, installed an over-range microwave, fixed the copper line to the ice maker, cut into the walls to run speaker wire, we painted every single room, including a mural by my wife , painted the kitchen cabinets, my wife made 4 sets of drapes and countless pillows, painted the new shed and stained the deck. That doesn't count the stuff we hired people to do or repeat chores like mowing the lawn, raking. I'm amazed at the time it consumes, but it's worth it. Enjoy!
