One More Reason to Catblog
Beth and I had a blast at the KC Home Show. I’ll be sure to post pictures soon, but for now my attention is a bit diverted. Because, you see, the Wayside Waifs animal shelter has a mobile adoption clinic at the Home Show, and there I fell in love with this pretty lady.
Now, I wasn’t supposed to get another cat. VH had, in fact, informed me that I absolutely “would not” be getting another cat. Not today, not ever.
Not that I listened.
Pippin doesn’t quite know what to make of the new kitty who, as you can see, doesn’t really quite know what to make of him, either.
But the Big-Eyed Boy is happy. He finally has a cat he got to name ‘Butch.’
Cats are better in pairs.
Congratulations on the new addition!
I have five. Want one?
This is the first time I’ve ever had more than one. Rose is right — they’re better in pairs. Now I’ll be able to sleep with warm fuzzies on both sides at night!
She’s lovely. Congrats!
CongrAT-CHOOlations.
we have three. I usually end up with Bitsy in the crook of my knee, Liath is generally in the belly/chest cove and Duncan is either on my foot, or on hubby’s head. 14 pounds of cat on his head. purring. loudly.
I finally broke Pippin of the habit of sitting on my head. That cat has the worst gas… I just couldn’t take it anymore. Now he loves to curl under the covers next to me which helps “diffuse” the gas. His snoring, however, is another matter.
Have him snooze next to your husband, and when he passes gas, pull the covers up over VH’s head.
