Actually, the B vitamins are mostly water-soluable, meaning that if they aren't used they get flushed from the system.

The only problem I've ever had from vitamin B was when I was taking "super vitamin B complex"--it caused me to have urinary tract infection symptoms.

A and E are the fat-soluable vitamins most often inadvertently over-taken.

Wichi Dude is right, I suspect. Sounds like RSI to me. You could take a look at the Typing Injuries FAQ. A lot better than Vitamin B, I think, because you can overdose on that. You can't overdose on rest. Usually.

Vitamin B-Complex. I'm not talking one or two a day, rather two or three an hour until the pain lessens, then reduce dose as needed (drink lots of water, btw).

Trust me--it "heals" the nerves.

I've had my share of wrist issues. Acute tendonitis of both wrists and elbows. Fun, fun, fun.
Give it a rest and do what the doc orders. Not always fun, but it usually works. Lots of luck and happy recovery.

Ow, I feel your pain, having had more than one pinched nerve in my lifetime. Hope it's better soon! I was just getting used to you being back!

Have you ever heard of "nerve flossing"? I had an anterior cervical discectomy with fusion operation on two sets of cervical vertebrae, and nerve flossing has been part of my PT treatment. Take a look here for an example, or just Google "Nerve Flossing".

Frozen peas. Whack the bag a couple times to loosen the peas and then wrap the bag around your wrist. It'll reduce the swelling on the nerve.

One day I'll invent something that works as well as peas for this and then i'll be a millionaire.
