Now that this morning’s writing session is over – and a productive one it was! – my son and I are heading out to run a couple of quick errands. Lots to be done before Kelley gets here next week, not the least of which is stocking up on adult beverages so we can perfect our “Venom & Blight” drink recipe that we’ll be sharing with y’all – and sharing several dozen between our selves – while she’s here.

I also better get some film for the regular camera and some batteries for the digital one, because some folks are nicely asking for pictures from Kelley’s visit. (And some are a little more demanding than others.) Oh, and I want to make sure I have some allergy and cold medicine on hand, too, since Kelley’s feeling under the weather.

But I’ll be back with the Letter of the Day. Tell ya what, though. Since I’m running so behind this morning, let’s do something a little different with the LOTD this time, shall we?

This time I’m going to tell you in advance what the Letter’s going to be. If you have a link you want included in my post, email it to me with an appropriate word that starts with the LOTD and I’ll list your link as long as nobody else has used the same word.

Who knows, if this works out well enough I might start doing it more often – you just can’t have enough bulging blog round-ups, a witty linkfests or carnival-type things, after all.
