Pretty As A Picture
With just days to go, I do believe I’ve finished my Father’s Day shopping. This year took more time and effort than usual, because this year my husband put more time and effort into shopping for Mother’s Day and my birthday.
Among the gifts I’ve picked out for VH: a digital photo frame for his office to replace the umpteen standard pictures now cluttering his desk and walls.
It was an easy decision, really. Every single picture we’ve taken in the past 7 years has been on a digital camera, but they might as well not exist since we’ve yet to print up more than a handful of them for display. With the digital frame, we don’t have to go through the expense and hassle of buying new print cartridges and high-gloss paper. The environment watchdogs have got to love that.
Learning to use my digital camera required an hour with the instruction manual and not a few choice words as I messed things up. The digital frame is going to be much more simple: it has a USB port, so I just need to link it to my laptop, drag and drop the photos I’ve picked out for him (read: ones in which I appear thin) and wrap the whole thing up.
He’s going to love having more room on his desk, and I’m going to love seeing the surprised look on his face when the pictures I took of him snoring away flash across his new digital frame.
OMG that’s cool. I need some.
This was not even a sponsored Venom? Whoa. That digital picture frame is incredibly cool.
It is, isn’t it? I just hope VH doesn’t scroll through all the pix I load on his before he sets it up at the office. The snoring ones are too funny.
