Folks, I am so grateful for the phenomenal kindness and support you’ve shown by giving so generously to the Fang Fund. As of 11:oo a.m. today, you have contributed a total of $5893, which means I’m only $2300 or so from being able to afford the bill from my accident!

The Art Auction of fellow-blogger and artist Randy Thomas’s original drawing — which Randy has put up for auction to benefit the Fang Fund — is in full-swing at Xrlq’s place.

I’m also in the process of making a new blogroll to include all of the bloggers who’ve been so fantastic at getting the word out concerning the Fang Fund. There are so many of you that it’s going to take a while, but within the next day or so I hope to have the full-length, permanently displayed list in my sidebar.

But, if it’s all right with you, I really would like to go back to some regular blogging for a while. I am behind on the news and blog-reading, and I’m desperately in need of a creative release to distract myself from obsessing about the cost of this whole ordeal.

So, while I hope this doesn’t discourage anyone thinking about donating to the Fang Fund, if it’s all right with you, I’m going to go back to some regular, good ol’ fashioned blogging in a bit.
