After discussing the matter thoroughly with the Venomous Hubby (who is sick of hearing me talk about writing a novel but finding all sorts of excuses to avoid the actual writing part), I’ve decided to take the National Novel Writing Month challenge. Frankly, I wasn’t going to. Then I read this little gem which cinched the deal:

The stylish icons immediately communicate two things: 1) I am a serious writer now, and, 2) As a serious writer, I will not have time for household chores until December.
