We actually had a thunderstorm while it was freezing rain. I went out earlier today and cleaned my car off so it won't be so horrible tomorrow morning when I head out to work, if I can get out of my apartment complex. Stay warm. (Although I haven't seen one single car on the road today.) The streets are all white since we don't really have much in the way of a plowing/salt crew, and there's a freezing drizzle falling. Still, it wasn't as bad as they'd seemed to be warning us about. Which means my in-laws will probably be here any minute. They're coming from Branson, and I'd heard the roads are much worse out that way. I'm sure that won't stop them, though. It’s not bad here in Leavenworth, either, from what I can see out the window.
