Well I was never a “baby person”. When it comes to babies I’ll be happy to coo over them for about 30 minutes then I’m ready to hand them back to someone else. LOL.

And yes, it was an excellent moment… of course I will admit it was a bar and it was dimly lit… still… I’ll take it.

Being able to once again go out with my husband to bars, movies, museums, wine-tastings and restaurants where you don’t shout your order into a clown’s mouth are definitely things I’m looking forward to!

Was just in Chicago last weekend with my kids. Two nights of bars. I have to say I don’t miss babies in the least. One of the places we were in had a long wait for seats to eat dinner. So while standing and drinking, along with half the population of the city, a woman trying to wend her way through the crowd stopped to talk for a minute. When my daughter said “Mom…” the woman looked at me and said… “Did she just call you mom??? Seriously???” Made my weekend. LOL. I’ll leave the babies for the rest of you. If and when my kids have their own I’ll be happy about it, but I’m not pushing in the least.

You know, I still haven’t completely given up the dream of being a rock star. However, I should considering I think I have reached the pinnacle by co-leading music at church accompanied by my guitar which I have to keep myself in check with occasionally as we have a majority older congregation. My eggs aren’t too pickled, and still coming in, but the hubby shoots blanks. I went through that crisis last year when I caught the baby bug. I think that was caused by having 5 pregnant friends. Babies.Everywhere. Only one is preggo now, and the force is no longer so strong.

I’m only partially ready for grandbabies. Mainly because both of my spawn are still teens.
