A Quick Thought On Exit Polls
Once again, mainstream media has begun its traditional self-flagellation over the botched early exit polls which were so pro-Kerry yesterday morning.
Really, I don’t know why the pollsters are blaming themselves. Of course the early morning voters yesterday were primarily Democrats. Republicans have jobs.
This was exaclty what my husband and I said to each other yesterday. Who has time for those dumb questions?
Damn! That was a bit harsh.
DEWY DEFEATS TRUEMAN haha what a sick joke these liberal journalsist are and just wait until next year and the inogeration you can bet there will be quite a few disadents and brownshirts protesting
Personally, I think it’s even simpler than that. I think the early exit polls were blatant lies, crafted to give the impression Kerry would win, thus giving extra motivation to the Dems and take the wind out of the Republicans’ determination.
All you have to do is look at how long it took some of the “news” organizations to call a state for Bush. Even when it became apparent that Kerry would have to win every single uncounted vote, they still wouldn’t call Ohio. The best service Rather, et al can provide us at this point is to just hand in their press credentials and fade into oblivion.
You Said It Miss Kate!!
When I first read this, I laughed out loud. I could post for hours about your very arrogant, ignorant, stereotypical comment. If you think all democrats are “jobless,” then you’re one oblivious gal. I happen to be a moderate (who leads towards democrat). I am staunchly opposed to the Bush administration and EVERYTHING it stands for. And, I happen to have a VERY lucrative career. Actually, I should thank you. Your comment provides a prime example of the kind of closed-minded arrogance and ignorance that characterizes most Bush supporters. I’ll add it to my collection of things that truly illustrate my point, which half of America supports!
Correction…..more than half the country…..
