Dishonorable Discharge?
I’ve heard plenty of speculation about the reason John Kerry won’t release his military files, particularly one which suggests that he was dishonorably discharged. I’ve never given that one much credence — after 20+ years as a U.S. Senator and all of his chest-thumping over his military service, it seems like someone would’ve come forward by now and claim they’d participated in the process of discharging Kerry.
I may have to rethink my opinion now that I’ve read Black Five’s roundup.
UPDATE: Secure Liberty has a nice list o’ links, too!
I served in the US Army (enlisted) as an administrative clerk. Kerry’s separation documents would be in his 201 file. A highly confidential set of records, it wouldn’t surprise me to discover that Certain Documents had been tampered with or even discarded. A US Senator can get a lot of things done.
aren’t his military records up on his website? you guys are so brainwashed its silly. why would he make his military record a big deal if it was something like a dishonorable discharge? wouldn’t someone have said something by now?
at least he went to vietnam. the guy who replaced bush in vietnam… his name is on the wall.
gee, a little touchy aren’t we, Andrew? did you not see the part where Kate said that she didn’t give the speculation much credence? I’m sure you did, but it doesn’t matter, right? we’re all still brainwashed.
