Whose name appears on the title to the vehicles? Wouldn’t knowing that settle this question once and for all? This whole subject reminds me of the Starr investigation . . . utterly misguided and a clear sign of desperation. If this is your best shot against Kerry, I guess I feel pretty good about having him as number 44.

Strictly speaking, he’s probably right that it’s hers, not his. As you know, inherited money generally belongs to the heir(-ess)/devisee alone, even in a community property state (which Mass. isn’t).
