Memo To The Candidates

To: President George W. Bush; Democratic Candidate-apparent John Kerry
From: Me, a Registered and Informed Voter

Please be advised that the Vietnam War is over. What you did – or did not do – in service to your country nearly 40 years ago is of far less interest than what you’ve done since, and both are of far less interest than what you plan to do for the next four years.

That is all. Carry on.

I’ve been saying that for months. Why don’t we see if the candidates get the message?

I wrote a similar post and debated whether or not I should post it. I think I will now.

The only matter that interest me about this subject is how significant Kerry believes his actions in Nam WERE (note past tense). His inflation of that experience brings some insight to me that I will use to judge the significance of his boast for a future with him at the helm.
