It’s taken some time for MSM to catch on to what the rest of us on the Right already suspected: Obama’s plan to go with completely private campaign financing wasn’t the noble undertaking he wanted us to believe.

On Saturday, Newsweek broke the story of “Doodad Pro” and “Good Will”, private — and completely fictitious — donors who’d sent Obama over $28k in donations. (This, after Obama’s camp had to return $33k in donations from a pair of brothers in Gaza whose donations violated the proscription against foreign national funding in presidential elections.)

Now, as my ol’ buddy Mike at Cold Fury points out, Obama’s Chicago-style take on campaign financing laws isn’t nearly as surprising as the fact that MSM is finally noticing it.

Maybe Misha is right and we’re approaching the end of times?
