I’m voting because I’m one of those bitches that scare Democrats. I’m a security mom. I’m worried about the safety of my child and I don’t trust the Democrats to protect our country. Period.
Democrats, at this point in time, are only interested in winning a politcal victory because they haven’t won shit in a long time. They can’t see beyond election day. [...]
They don’t have a plan for anything beyond November 7th.
I’m voting so I have a right to bitch about the outcome, whichever way it goes. If the candidates I vote for lose, I bear no complicity in their screw-ups since I made it clear I didn’t want them in office in the first place. If the candidates I vote for win and then screw up, well, I can pretty much do what half the GOP voting block is already doing and claim they let me down.

Of course, if the candidates I vote for win and do good things, well, I get to gloat, right?

I can’t vote, I’m not a citizen – but I’ll still bitch while trying to influence my hubby.

Kate, if your candidates win and do good things, I’ll be glad too!

Well, in all honesty, I’m increasingly skeptical whether any politician would ever gain office if they actually announced – and stuck to – their true intentions. We complain about politicians lying, but the more elections I live through the more I’m convinced the problem is really the voting populace screaming “Lie to us! LIE to us!”
