Caption Contest: Rhambo and The Hope-And-Changey Edition *BUMP*

by Venomous Kate

Rhambo whispers sweet nothings into the President's ear

This time, the winner gets a Moleskine notebook paid for out of my own pocket. So you’d damn well make it GOOD, folks.

Winner announced Monday.

UPDATE: Due to my mother’s visit, which lasts until Friday, I’ll be a bit too busy for blogging. Ergo, I’m going to keep the contest open. Winner announced Sunday.

Ex Presidents

The winner of last week’s Caption Contest — by a landslide — was Margi with:

“They’re so cute when they’re first inaugurated.”
“I know!”
“He’ll need some ‘Just For Men’ by next January.”
“It’s a bet?”
“You’re on!”

Look for another contest to begin tomorrow!

All right, my lovely Venomites, I have another treat for you: the first place winner of this week’s Caption Contest receives a hardcover copy of Chuck Norris’ book, Black Belt Patriotism: How to Reawaken America.

So do me proud.

The Prize Winners Are…

by Venomous Kate

Last week’s caption contest is over. After much giggling (and quite a bit of NyQuil), I’ve selected the winners.

First place:
Joe Biden and Barack Obama conversation

Kimsch will receive a copy of Sarah: How a Hockey Mom Turned Alaska’s Political Establishment Upside Down, the biography of Sarah Palin.

Second place:

Joe Biden and Barack Obama desperate over election night

McGehee will receive a copy of Faith of My Fathers: a Family Memoir by John McCain (as soon as he emails me his snail mail address).

Honorable mention:

Barack Obama will need a job after the election

And Will Wallace gets mentioned as being pretty damn funny.
