My old Logitech whatever-the-hell (one of their first variants) had a little better range, but it was also twice the size. I use wifi at home exclusively, and when I am right on top of the router, it all goes to hell (and the same for the microwave, oddly enough), but otherwise, relatively smooth sailing. My only complaint is that, as with every headset I have tried, it always seems to pick up background noise over my own voice, but people have a hard time hearing me in person, so I guess that follows. I use mine mostly at home, and with all the Wi-fi stuff connected around here I can't get too far from it. Don't know that name-brand Bluetooth would be much better, though. For the most part, I prefer texting to talking any day -- provided those I'm texting with realize it's nothing but glorified email... so I feel no need to stop what I'm doing and respond until it suits me. For one, I found the keys too damn small. I have big hands (nudge nudge, wink wink) and I found those small keys annoying. Plus, I realized all I wanted was a phone. Not a camera, not a text messenger...simply a phone :) One phone I really like is the Nokia N95...I mean, it has DVD quality video!
