Tomorrow, March 24, is “Shut Down Day.” (It’s kind of like January’s “Internet Free Day,” except there’s no gaming allowed, either!)
Be a part of one of the biggest global experiments ever to take place on the internet. The idea behind the experiment is to find out how many people can go without a computer for one whole day, and what will happen if we all participate!
The organizers want to know: can you do it?
No. No, I can’t.

I will be live blogging “Turn it Off and Tune Out” day.

Why would I want to? I pay for it.

See, and my family would pay for it if I tried “turning off and tuning out.”

Rodney… ROFLMAO – that’s great!
I can and have taken time off. If I’m tired of being online – I get off. I take entire weekends off to get away from the news. Longer than that and the spam piles too high and it’s harder to dig out than it would be just to get on earlier and clean it up.
But if you tell me to get off the computer as if it’s a cause… oh HELL NO!
