We Are Getting A Wii!
Ladies and Gentlemen, the day that I’ve been waiting for has finally arrived. As I paged through sales fliers this morning, I saw that Wal-Mart is offering an unbunbdled Wii console (in store only) for $294.
I’d write about how excited I am, but right now I need to jump in the shower and get down there before they sell out.
Whee!!!
UPDATE: Three little words guaranteed to break a girl’s heart: Out Of Stock. Oh, well, maybe next sale.

You’re going to love it. The boy and I have been hooked since Christmas morning. Bowling and tennis are fun, and boxing gives you a great workout. Other than his solo excursions with Lego Star Wars, we have scarcely tried anything beyond the Wii Sports games that come with it. I’m looking forward to trying Surf’s Up this weekend.

They’re out of stock here, too. The lady at the electronics counter said they sold out within 3 hours of the flier hitting everyone’s mailbox.
They don’t do rainchecks, and they don’t know when the next shipment’s coming.
I did, however, pick up some new towels, rugs and potholders for my repainted kitchen. Also, a mini-trampoline that was on sale. And a heavy-duty sports bra.
I stalked four stores for at least a month before a mall game store owner took pity and sold me one that he had been holding for someone else but had no showed.
IT WAS WORTH IT!

Computer gamers have always known that personal hygiene is the surest road to disappointment… or something.

If I hadn’t skipped the personal hygiene thing yesterday, I probably could have done so today.
It seems like the only place anyone can get a wii is ebay ,not sure if thats good or bad lol
I bet a well placed small bribe (finders fee) at a small computer game store would work.
E-Bay might be pricey (cost plus).

I’ve put Wal-Mart on my cell phone’s speed dial and am now calling their electronics department twice daily until someone there agrees to either hold one for me or says they’ve got one in stock.
Game Stop here in the Chicago area said they aren’t expecting any until MARCH!
