The station had been losing ratings for quite some time. They're good, but they're all age 48-60, and most of them have worked Morning Shows for various stations around town over the past <em>twenty years</em>. So the station fired them in the plan of bringing in a crew with a fresher feel more close to the ages of the station's target demographic. The fired DJs are now suing, claiming age discrimination. Thing is, they <em>were</em> fired over their ages... but their ages were the reason why they felt so out of touch with their demographic.
