Ooh - have to try this out.

I currently have 16852 songs in iTunes with hundreds of albums left to rip. When Brian and I flock to our book fairs, I'm usually picking up cassettes at 25 cents a pop (or less) or record albums. It takes a whole lot longer to get them in MP3 format than it does CDs, but ultimately it's pretty satisfying to add to the music collection so cheaply (and legitimately). I have a feeling I'll spend some time on blip. I sure spend some time on last.fm

Eclectic. Sounds like some of this is really rocking out, some more mellow. Nice selection. Big Echo and Cult fan.

Wow, I haven't heard Echo and the Bunnymen or Squeeze since college. When I was working I used Yahoo's streaming music to build an eclectic channel of my own, although it leaned more towards movie/show/classical. I'm a dork.

Well, as you can see by the rest of the playlist, I'm rather fond of the 80s stuff.

And I didn't say I was listening to Yusef Islam. I was listening to Cat Stevens. He became Yusef <em>after</em> recording his good stuff.

Paralyzer... wonderful until the 1988 vocals started kicking in. Had to bail.

Most of those are pretty damn good, most of the rest I don't recognize. Yusef Islam I won't listen to.

Nice list all in all.
