Me: “I want a Wii Fit for Valentine’s Day.”

Him: “Right. And then you’ll beat the snot out of me for giving you something exercise-related on a romantic holiday.”

Me: “No I won’t. I’ll be SO grateful I might even do the hula hoop thing topless.”

Him: “Where did you say I should buy one?”

I’ll admit, the Rabbids TV Party game is the primary reason I went ahead and defied VH1 by buying a Wii. It just looks like so much fun!

But first I’m getting that Wii Fit, darn it. Even if I have to ask him to give it to me for Valentine’s Day.

After my wife left me, she was hesitant about letting me know where she lived. I think the breakup resulted in a fair amount of consternation on both our parts.

In any case, she recently needed some IT support, and since I am the only IT guy she knows who works for free, she invited me over. When I arrived the first thing I noticed was this HUGE plasma TV in her living room! The second thing I saw was a brand new WII! Both of those items would have been nixed from the onset had I suggested we acquire them when we were married.

Still, she has said she won’t ask for any monetary compensation for the privilege of having been married to her, so I didn’t feel it would be right to mention either the TV or the WII.

Oh, and I did fix her computer, and then went right home and fired up the good ol’ Intellivision.
