Word Fugue: The Self-Cleaning Edition
I know, I know: I promised to start blogging madly again. But I’m busy: my in-laws arrive tomorrow, which means there’s a ton of cleaning to do. Then I’m going to lock myself away in my office for most of their three-day visit and hope the house still looks nice after they’ve gone. (Hey, it might be passive-aggressive, but it’s cheaper than taking off to Branson for the weekend.)
So while I scrub floors and battle dust bunnies, I thought I’d invite you to play Word Fugue. If you’ve never played this word-association game, now is the perfect time to break that bad habit. After all, the rules are quite simple:
1. I start it off with a word.
2. You look at the most recently posted comment.
3. You leave the word — and only ONE word — that comes to mind upon reading the most recent comment.
4. You may play as many times as you like, but you may not use the same word twice.
5. The game continues until this post falls off the front page (about 4 days from now) or until some comment spammer makes me decide it’s no longer fun.
So play early and often!
