Hacked!

A word of warning to WordPress users: if you haven’t already done so, upgrade to version 1.2.2 which fixes a serious security flaw.

How serious? Well, VenomPages front page got hacked last night by some idiot who exploited the security flaw. (Thanks to Circa Bellum for bringing it to my attention.) Luckily, I’m a big believer in backups.

I’m now a big believer in regular updates, too.

You’re on BlogSpot, which means they won’t be able to use the PHP-based exploit that’s causing problems for WP (and other PHP-based software) users.
