It could be worse. Really. We had a neighbor who thought it would be a good idea to take a Spring Break vacation some years ago. Her family booked a beach house down on the Gulf of Mexico. They trundled off. Of, did I mention that she was pregnant? Very pregnant. And she was/is of small stature, so her center of gravity was all off. You know that beach house's are on stilts, right? As in staircase to get to the house part. Day one: she tumbles down the entire flight of steps and sprains one and ankle and breaks the other. Day two: doctors confirm that ankles are as good as they're gonna be for a good while and that baby is just fine. Day three: back home Did I mention that she was a good mommy and gave up smoking, drinking, and caffeine during the pregnancy? Did I mention that she was a little bitter not being able to move around?
